FIRST PLACE HONORS: Associated General Contractors, Georgia Branch 2016 Build Georgia Award

The Physical Internet Center at The Georgia Institute of Technology is located in the Colonel Frank F. Groseclose building.  The building was constructed in 1983 at 765 Ferst Drive on Georgia Tech’s main campus in Atlanta, GA and houses a large portion of the College of Industrial & Systems Engineering.  A recent addition to the ISyE, the Physical Internet Center is a 1600 sf state of the art computer laboratory dedicated to the research and improvement of global logistical supply chains.

This project consisted of transforming an old & outdated space located in an existing facility to a new & modernized hub of data gathering & analysis.  This project also serves as an area of interest for Georgia Tech’s potential students & donors, and has been designed so that it may be observed from the outside without interrupting the various research projects that occur within.
